Authority

"Authority" is a small project made for the GMTK Game Jam 2020. It features a dystopian version of the British Isles, and allows you to allocate police to prevent and decrease unrest in the regions of the nations. Mostly its just a little demo where you can spray people with pepper spray.

Instructions:

1. Click on a region to adjust its police presence value
2. The colour of a region will change to indicate its state of unrest. White is good, red is bad.
3. Click "Reset police allocation" will remove all police presence from all regions.
4. If the unrest value in a region becomes too high, a protest may occur. The location of the protest will be reported in your news feed on the left of the screen, and a red ring will appear around the region. Click on the region and select "quell protest" to offer your crowd control expertise.
5. Press the "escape" key to restart.
6. That's it. There is no win condition. You just spray people. You may also rename a region, if you so wish, by clicking on it and then clicking on the region's name.
